Measure temperatures in any environment
Optical fiber sensors are a better alternative to electrical sensors for many applications. They are characterized by high accuracy, long-term stability, simple, cost-saving installation and first-class performance under harsh environmental conditions. These optical sensors are insensitive to electromagnetic influences (EMI) and extremely resistant to mechanical fatigue.
Here you will find a comprehensive range of sensors for a wide variety of applications.
Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor os1100
The os1100 Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is designed for use in fiber optic sensing applications. It is a single FBG centered in a two meter length of polyimide coated optical fiber. It may be used individually or can be spliced into an array of many FBGs.
Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor os1200
The os1200 FBG array (Fiber Bragg Grating) is designed for use in fiber optic sensor applications. It is a six-meter-long PI fiber with five centered FBGs, which are arranged at intervals of one meter.
Temperature compensation sensor os4100
The os4100 is a temperature compensation sensor. It is spot welded, glued or screwed with epoxy resin and was specially developed for the os3100 strain gage. The stainless steel support of the os4100 keeps the FBG under tension and protects the fiber during installation. Because no epoxies hold the fiber on the carrier, long-term stability is guaranteed.
Temperatur Probe os4200
os4200 temperature probes are sealed stainless steel tubes that facilitate handling and enable quick, repeatable sensor installation. Since no epoxies hold the fiber to the tube, long-term stability is guaranteed. Just as sensitive and just like thermocouples, the os4200 offers response times of less than a second, a larger operating range, no calibration and no EMI noise. The sensor is suitable for use in harsh environments and can be used alone or in series at the end of a sensor array.
Non-metallic Temperatur Sensor os4300
The temperature sensor os4300 is available in three versions and is housed in a sealed aluminum oxide ceramic tube, which makes handling easier and enables fast, repeatable sensor installation. Since no epoxies hold the fiber to the tube, long-term stability is guaranteed. Just as sensitive and just like thermocouples, the os4300 offers response times of less than a second, a larger operating range, no calibration and no EMI noise. The sensor is suitable for use in harsh environments. Three housing options enable installation that is comparable to thermocouples with reinforced cables and protected connections. The sensor can be used alone or in series as a sensor array.
